A flood warning has been issued for the Barwon River to Inverleigh, including Winchelsea and Deans Marsh, amid reports of water breaking banks. The State Emergency Service issued the warning on Thursday afternoon via VicEmergency, and said there was minor flooding at Ricketts Marsh.

Officially, the Barwon River at Geelong peaked at the minor flood level of 2.3m on the gauge around 5am Tuesday, while upstream at Ricketts Marsh, near Birregurra, the river peaked at 3.52m, above the minor flood level of 3m.
